Multitasking can be defined as the ability to perform "Done In One" manufacturing operations without manual intervention aptly named. EverFab works with several models of machinery, which specialize in Multi-task machining. Some of their benefits include: the capability to turn, drill, tap and mill in one set-up, automatically transfer parts from first to second operations, and automatically load/unload the part during machining operations.

Our multitask machining capability allows us to provide three main performance benefits to manufacturing operations. We can consistently:

2. Reduce cost required to manufacture each part
3. Reduce non-value added manufacturing time

The accuracy benefits realized through Multi-task machining are astounding. Multi process tolerance stack up will be minimized due to reduced part handling. Improved concentricity between first and second turning operations is realized by eliminating manual loading through automatic work piece transfer.

We are able to realize cost benefits due to the reduction of total machines necessary to produce the same parts, include reductions of: work holding cost, in process inventory, burden rates, necessary manpower for total number of set-ups, and large numbers of duplicate tools from machine to machine.

Besides the basic production benefits multitasking provides there are many commercial benefits as well. Most important of which is a tremendous drop in non-value added time. We are able to see extensive improvements in time consumption in areas such as: programming, program verification, and manual part load and unload. In addition, other benefits include:
